YouTube’s New Corrections Function Simplifies Editing

After uploading a video, authors may make corrections that will display as infocards in the right-hand corner at the appropriate timestamp but only for the first correction in any particular video. So, for example, if the creator realises a step is wrong in a video about a data transfer app, he can make adjustments quite easily. Viewers may then expand the correction notes in the video’s description by clicking on the card.

The feature seems a bit haphazard, but it is undeniably valuable. YouTube should not force producers to choose between changing the record and enabling their videos to perform as well as possible. Therefore any tool that allows them to do both is appreciated.
