YouTube is the core platform for content creators, with unlimited features to offer highly engaging videos to viewers. The app and site are actively assisting users in presenting their channels with premium-quality content that can easily be watched around the globe. The latest news related to YouTube is that a major update is coming out soon that will remove the option to hide confidential details for users who actively visit your channels.

YouTube has announced several new upgrades aimed at reducing spam and abuse, including removing the option to hide channel subscriber statistics and installing a new increased strictness level in its auto-moderation features. However, the reports explain that YouTube channels may now decide to reveal their subscriber count, which some users may prefer if they fear it would turn away viewers or harm their credibility.

YouTube explained this significant change by stating, “Whereas we’re conscious that some creators discover this function worthwhile, as YouTube grows, we discovered it’s usually used to impersonate channels. Unhealthy actors usually lure folks to their channel web page by impersonating different creators in feedback. And now, channels will not give you the option to cover their subscriber pens on YouTube.”

The new update will create confusion for spammers who used to make dummies of famous YouTuber channels. On the other hand, this will boost influencers who are uploading content daily and new visitors who might skip the channel. Active YouTube visitors need to filter the authentic channels. Several users started using video remover apps to clean their smartphone memory.

While some users may prefer not to see their subscription numbers, it looks to be a modest compromise for improved transparency and security in the app. The update will be available at the end of July and will give YouTube channel admins more control over spam comment filtering by increasing the strictness of their channel’s auto-moderation tool.
