Unreleased iPhones, iPads, and iPad Airs have been imported into India ahead of a rumored spring release
Unreleased iPhones, an entry-level iPad, and the next-generation iPad Air have all been brought into India ahead of their planned introduction this spring.
Apple registered two new iPad models and one new iPhone in the Eurasian Economic Commission database last month, each with model numbers that do not correspond to any already available device. Apple has started importing smartphones into India for “testing reasons,” according to “industry sources” quoted in a recent 91mobiles story.
Apple is likely to upgrade several of its devices in the spring, with the iPad Air and iPhone SE receiving minor improvements. The iPad Air, Apple’s mid-tier model with a starting price of $599, is expected to include 5G connectivity on cellular variants, as well as the A15 Bionic CPU and support for Center Stage. The $399 iPhone SE is rumored to include 5G capability, the A15 Bionic processor, and the same 4.7-inch display as the current model. It is worth mentioning that the devices will be able to remove duplicate contacts without any issues.
For now, we have no further details regarding the products or the confirmed release date.
