The South Korean tech giant is one of the leading smartphone manufacturers worldwide. There is a wide range of options available when it comes to Samsung devices. There are innovative, lavish designs with hefty price tags and middle rangers for everyday use. In recent years Samsung has released the A-series, which consists of middle-range devices. These variants are quite popular in the market but had few differences between each other; Samsung seems to have changed that.

All the recent rumors

Reportedly Samsung has been working on refreshing its two popular midrange devices: the Galaxy A52 and A72. We have seen multiple reports over the year about these two devices and the recent one contradicts some of the previous leaks.

According to Verge, the phones will get higher refresh rate screens which is a much-awaited feature. Faster refresh rates make for a much cleaner experience, with smoother animations and scrolling than the typical 60Hz screen offers. The A52 and A72 are expected to have LTE and 5G variants whereas the LTE phones will hopefully have 90Hz displays and the 5G variants will have 120Hz displays.

Other speculations claim that the phones are expected to include a Snapdragon 750G chipset, 6.5-inch OLED screen, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The devices will be shipped with Android 11 as well. It is possible Variants with 6GB of RAM / 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM / 256GB of storage will be available. Additionally, we can expect better quality cameras as well such as include a 64-megapixel main sensor with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, 5-megapixel macro, and a 5-megapixel depth-sensing camera. Furthermore, the Galaxy A52 5G will also be IP67 water and dust resistant.

After all these upgrades the devices will supposedly cost $450. Which is quite a reasonable price compared to the others.

In Conclusion

These upgrades seem promising and if followed through will improve the popularity of the device. The Galaxy A51 was one of the top-selling phones at the begging of 2020. Samsungs commitment to keep providing consumers with “good” middle-range devices is commendable. These devices function flawlessly to carry out tasks such as media sharing. As of now, the A series seems to be a hit but we cannot provide further details or verdicts until the phones are in the market.
