Samsung made one of the most recent mobile device announcements at CES. No, it’s not the Galaxy S23; it’s the A14 5G at the opposite end of the company’s range. Samsung’s entry-level smartphone range is the A-series. The A14 5G, marketed for a relatively low price compared to other Galaxy smartphones, has some really impressive features and is a fantastic choice for anybody seeking an Android 13 smartphone at a reasonable cost.

Galaxy A14 5G Display & Camera

It appears that Samsung made a few improvements to its 2023 A14 5G variant to keep the phone current. This time, although still an LCD, the display has seen the most significant improvement. It is now a 6.6-inch FHD+ 2220 x 1080 panel. The default 90Hz will maintain smooth scrolling and gaming visuals. If you want to view photos with a stunning display on Galaxy A14 5G., we highly recommend downloading a photo transfer app to transfer all HD videos and pictures from another phone. The camera package on the back has not changed in terms of specs. The unimpressive macro lens is still present; we believe a telephoto would have been a better choice. The front camera, however, has a significant pixel increase to 13MP.

Galaxy A14 5G Battery Specs

If you look closely, there are a few further modifications. The Bluetooth 5.2 protocol update allows for quicker pairing and power savings. Thanks to an updated modem, 5G Sub6 is now officially supported. Regarding everything else, Samsung mostly maintained the A13 5G’s specifications. Customers continue to receive the same 5000mAh battery with 15W wireless charging, Dimensity 700, RAM, and storage choices. We are disappointed to see such little attention paid to a well-priced product, even when the pricing is anticipated to remain the same as the previous edition. The specifications are good, but other smartphones in this class offer fierce competition.

Galaxy A14 5G Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G has a large battery and is compatible with 15-watt rapid wired charging. The A14 5G won’t be able to recharge to 100% capacity as quickly as a device that supports quicker charging, but a pretty quick charge should still be possible with it. A great mid-range smartphone designed for multi-tasking and shooting selfies.
