Rumors Suggest Apple Set to Reveal New Product
Apple is expected to make its first product announcement of 2023 through a press release on its website tomorrow, Tuesday, January 17. This is according to Apple leaker Jon Prosser, and MacRumors can confirm that an announcement is expected to take place this week.
Updates to MacBook Pros & Mac mini Models
The announcement might be one of many coming soon, including upgraded MacBook Pros and Mac mini versions. The revised 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are likely to have the same design as the versions introduced in October 2021, with the M2 Pro and M2 Max CPUs providing enhanced performance such as better music transfer speed. A new Mac mini is also anticipated to gain from the performance of new M2 CPUs, although reports say it will retain the existing model’s design.
Press & Media Briefings
We have also learned that Apple will hold briefings later this week with members of the press and media on the new devices ahead of review embargoes for the new products lifting next week. This will give media outlets a chance to get hands-on with the new products before they are officially released to the public.
It’s worth noting that all information above is based on rumors and speculations and it’s best to wait for official confirmation from Apple.
