Usually, Google does not issue more than one patch in the time between major previews. However, Beta 3.1 was necessary as a more critical update and was released two days after Beta 3. This was due to the fact that the Beta Feedback app was not available for usage by new users.

At a high level, the “latest bug fixes and enhancements to stability and performance” are included in the Beta 3.2 release. This update explicitly addresses five problems with Android 13 and includes those fixes.

Issues Resolved with the Beta 3.2

  • A bug that prevented the back gesture from functioning properly in certain applications.
  • A bug caused the At a glance settings page to collapse unpredictably while scrolling.
  • A bug caused some applications, such as data sharing, to immediately close upon being opened.
  • An issue in which the microphone would suddenly switch on and off when using the device for other purposes.
  • An issue that caused the Google Photos app to fail often.

Even though we have not received many complaints about these issues, they mostly affect the application and user-facing features. We’ll keep you updated if further patches are rolled out.
