Multiple renders of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 variants revealed
According to previous reports, it appeared that the Galaxy Tab S8 series would replace the Tab S7 and S7 Plus from last year before the end of 2021, this is no longer the case. If you’ve been waiting for new Android slates with baited breath, they might not be too long away. Today, some new renders for all three tablets surfaced online, and they could just be enough to hold you over until their official announcements.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8
The mockups for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 come from noted leaker Evan Blass, who earlier today posted photographs of all three models, confirming a few key details about Samsung’s newest slates.
To begin, the business has preserved a small bezel around the front of each unit, making it comfortable to grip regardless of whatever model you choose. When smartphones have ditched bezels in favor of full-screen displays, having a place to rest your fingers while holding a tablet is vital. The large 14" screen of the Tab S8 Ultra, on the other hand, comes with smaller variants, replete with a notch to keep the front-facing camera. Moreover, according to previously leaked rumors and speculations the tablet can easily transfer data to and fro from Android devices.
There are a few more aspects in these photographs that are worth noting. The 11-inch Tab S8 has a bigger power button with a fingerprint sensor built-in. As a result of the transition to an in-display sensor, the Tab S8+ and S8 Ultra have smaller power buttons. The selfie camera is horizontally positioned on all three tablets, making them ideal for having meetings on the road. It should work with any keyboard accessories Samsung releases for its latest slates, avoiding the uncomfortable location of some other popular devices.
Summing Up
Leaks about the Galaxy Tab S8 series have been emerging since May, but with the number of leaks increasing as we approach the new year, an early 2022 launch appears to be a foregone conclusion. Who knows, maybe in a few weeks we’ll be able to see Samsung’s new tablets alongside the long-awaited Galaxy S21 FE.
