Moto G Play 2023: Good Build Quality & Decent Camera
Despite some recent changes, the name Motorola has been around forever. Before the release of the iPhone, Motorola was well-known for its Razr flip phone. Today, Motorola has a plethora of Android smartphones in its lineup, many of which are more reasonably priced. The Moto G Play is Motorola’s most recent entry in the low-cost Android market (2023). Although the cheap cost of $170 is quite reasonable. Here we have gathered all the details relating to Motorola’s next version, which will be rolling out sooner than expected.
Moto G Play Processor
An out-of-the-box MediaTek Helio G37 processor, 3GB of RAM, and Android 12 are included with the Moto G Play (2023). The Moto G Play (2023) exploits a chip over two years old. Moto G Play takes a moment or two to bring up features like the keyboard. Android 12 is included with the Moto G Play (2023), making it quite obsolete given that Android 13 is the most recent operating system version. The plus side is that, aside from the Moto and Motorola Notifications applications, there isn’t much-preloaded bloatware, so you get a relatively pure Android experience.
Moto G Play FHD Screen
On the HD+ screen, everything appears to be in reasonable condition, although some of the visuals were fuzzy and less than ideal. However, there is a lot of stuttering and sluggish frame rates. The 90Hz refresh rate allows for seamless navigation on webpages and applications and quick switching between several apps. Despite having equal hardware, the OnePlus Nord N300 5G has a better-looking display than my primary smartphone, the iPhone 14 Pro, which also has a fantastic display.
Moto G Play Display & Availability
The Moto G Play (2023) sports a large 6.5-inch LCD screen; however, it only supports HD+ and has a resolution limit of 1600 x 720 pixels. Despite being frustrating if you’ve used a higher-resolution display, that is to be expected with a phone of this price. At least you don’t get a strange tiny dip or notch as on other devices because the front-facing camera is housed in a hole-punch cutout at the top of the display. Still a great design for a mid-ranger that will be available in the upcoming weeks.
