Microsoft Corporation is a global technology company based in Redmond, Washington, that makes computer software, consumer devices, computers, and associated services. The Microsoft Windows operating system, the Microsoft Office suite, and the Internet Explorer and Edge web browsers are among its most well-known software products.

Following the announcement last week that Windows 11 will receive a larger-than-usual upgrade in February with Android applications, taskbar enhancements, and other features, Microsoft is now disclosing its intentions for Windows 11 testing in 2022. The software company says it intends to test more features for Windows 11 testers that may or may not be released.

Further Details

Microsoft will now distribute Windows 11 in three different ways. The first is the Dev Channel, which will include experimental features and may not be suitable for daily usage. The second is the Beta channel, which will contain features that are closer to being released to the general public. Finally, there’s the Release Preview Channel, which “remains the ideal area for previewing what’s coming to general consumers soon,” according to Microsoft.

Since its introduction, Microsoft has made significant improvements to Windows 11, as seen by the current adoption figures. With the new split of its testing channels, the business hopes to expedite the process even further before all of the features are released to the public. Microsoft, on the other hand, is planning to release the February update for Windows 11, which will include features such as Android apps which may include SMS backup transfers, a redesigned taskbar and Notepad, and more.

This might be the most ambitious update by the software company yet. According to the rumors we expect it to be feature-packed.
