Meta Now Lets You Use WhatsApp on Two Phones
WhatsApp is one of the fastest sharing messaging platform. Previously, users could not use one account on multiple smartphones but if the rumors are true, the Meta-owned app might be allowing users to use the same account on two smartphones.
How to Use the Same Account on Two Phones
Make sure your WhatsApp account is up to date then launch WhatsApp on your second smartphone, then choose “Agree and Continue” from the menu that appears. Next, choose “Link a device” from the menu that appears when you click the three dots in the upper right corner. After that, launch WhatsApp on the main device you use most often and choose the menu option represented by three dots in the upper right corner of the screen. After that, choose “Linked devices” and “Link a device” by clicking on those respective links. Scanning the QR code that is shown on the secondary device is the last step. This will open your WhatsApp account on another device. This option is extremely convenient and does not require to manually carry out a WhatsApp backup transfer to your secondary device to use your account.
If you want to delete your WhatsApp account from your second phone, launch WhatsApp on your primary phone and select the three-dot menu. Then, on the device you want to remove, click “Linked devices” and select “Log out.” This will uninstall WhatsApp from your secondary smartphone.
