Facebook will be getting a sidebar to access all group notifications smoothly.

Your group’s most recent activity, such as new posts or chats you haven’t yet seen, will be included along with it. Additionally, you may create your groups, find new groups, and pin your favorites so they appear first on the sidebar. Facebook is starting a fresh push notification on groups that will feature more choices for more in-depth conversations within-group spaces, as well as a new, dedicated alerts option for groups in the sidebar of the app. As you swipe right from your main news feed, Facebook is testing a new list of the groups you joined or searching for new favorite channels.
