iPhone Guide: Easily Delete WhatsApp Messages
Most people have sent texts they later regret sending while under the pressure of the moment. With new features coming to the iPhone and iPad in iOS 16, Apple should be able to assist iOS Message users by making it more straightforward for them to modify and maybe even erase texts they have already sent. Apple is already planning to bring more updates to its loyal global community. The leading smartphone phone brand is now offering the first update of this year. We will walk you through deleting texts from your iPhone or iPad until we have additional information on those features.
Disable iCloud Message Backup
Do not follow a complex procedure if you want to disable the Messages in iCloud function or have erased a specific message thread from your smartphone. You can download the WhatsApp backup transfer app on your iPhone to shift your conversation to another phone without deleting any messages. This not only frees up space on your iCloud storage but also enables you to delete those irritating messages that you may have wanted to hold off on sending or that you do not want others to see. You may disable the Messages in the iCloud function if you maintain all of your interactions on a single device. Once disabled, Apple will keep a separate iCloud backup of your message history.
Delete iPhone Messages
Find the exchange and message you want to remove. Then tap and hold the attachment or message bubble you want to delete. When you do this, a new pop-up window will open, allowing you to respond, copy, translate, or alter the message in any way you see fit. There is a more option at the bottom of the menu. As seen in the image below, choose this. You may now pick specific messages from your discussion on your iPhone screen, and in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen is a delete icon. When asked, choose “Delete Message” after selecting the messages you want to remove from your account and pressing the trash can button to confirm.
