iPad now has brand new Photoshop features from Adobe
Adobe has upgraded Photoshop on the iPad with two important new tools: the smudge and sponge tools, which were previously only available on the desktop version of the software. Designers and artists will be pleased by the addition of these new features. They’ll have more creative freedom with their projects.
Photoshop Features from Adobe
The smudge tool is used to blur and blend lines or colors together. It has the standard parameters for modifying the effect’s size and strength, as well as a range of modes such as normal, darken, brighten, hue, saturation, color, and brightness. The sponge tool, on the other hand, is used to edit photographs by saturating or desaturating color, allowing users to fine-tune the vibrancy of their photos and artwork.
Adobe has released a new version for Premiere Pro on the desktop, which includes significant speed improvements for Macs with the M1 processor. All M1 Macs now support hardware-accelerated exports for DCI 4K and 8K HEVC formats, resulting in “much quicker performance,” according to Adobe. Users will be able to edit duplicate photos quite easily.
Lastly, on the M1 Max and M1 Pro chips in the latest MacBook Pro laptops, Adobe is also offering hardware acceleration for ProRes videos, resulting in up to five times faster performance. Users of Windows with integrated Intel GPUs will benefit as well, with enhancements to video playback.
