Everything Apple Users Expect from The Tech Giant in 2022
Apple had a busy 2021, unveiling its next set of new Macs, the new iPhone 13, the long-awaited AirTag item tracker, and much more amid the Apple Silicon shift. In 2022, Apple plans to release even more new gadgets across all of its key product categories.
iPad Pro
In 2021, the iPad Pro received a significant upgrade, which included a switch to the M1 processor for power and a mini-LED display in the 12.9-inch model. Soon after the announcement of the 2021 iPad Pro, speculations began to circulate about what to anticipate from the next-generation device.
Apple is reportedly working on a revamped iPad Pro with a glass back. For the first time, the iPad Pro would be able to enable wireless charging, as well as reverse wireless charging. Reverse wireless charging allows you to recharge a wireless charging-compatible device such as an iPhone or AirPods by placing it on the back of the iPad Pro. The iPad Pro’s power would be shared with the other device.
Another upgrade expected with the 2022 iPad Pro is the first introduction of mini-LED display technology on the 11-inch iPad Pro. This is the display technology that was originally introduced in 2021 with the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
iPhone 14
The iPhone 14 is expected to be a significant upgrade to the iPhone series, with analyst Ming-Chi Kuo forecasting two 6.1-inch versions and two 6.7-inch variants.
In terms of marketing titles, the 2022 iPhone range may look like this: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. According to Kuo, the iPhone 14 Max will have the lowest pricing for a big 6.7-inch iPhone ever, maybe below $900.
Meanwhile, a new hole-punch design is planned in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. If the punch-hole design seems familiar, it’s because it’s seen on a lot of high-end Android phones right now. With the iPhone 14, Apple makes sense to use this design, with the “punch-hole” housing the camera that is now housed in the notch.
According to Kuo, the iPhone 14 would have significant enhancements to the front-facing camera. According to Kuo, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max’s rear cameras will be improved to 48 megapixels, up from the 12-megapixel sensor in the iPhone 12. We hope that the company finds a much easier way to share SMS and data across platforms, if the option is available we might see a surge in iPhone users. The iPhone 14 range, on the other hand, is likely to be revealed and sold in September 2022.
AirPods Pro 2
Apple is also rumored to be working on a new AirPods Pro for release in 2022. The AirPods Pro 2 is rumored to have a revamped design and a greater focus on health tracking and fitness features. In a June interview, certain publications and leaks even indicated the idea of utilizing AirPods to “father various data” for health monitoring.
According to Bloomberg, the second-generation AirPods Pro will have a “more compact” design that will eliminate the stem that now protrudes from the bottom of the AirPods Pro. This might be comparable to Amazon’s Echo buds, which have a stemless, totally circular form that lies within the user’s ear.
However, none of these improvements are assured. Apple is claimed to have struggled to remove the AirPods Pro stem while keeping features like transparency mode, the H1 processor, and noise cancellation. As a result, Apple may opt for a less ambitious AirPods Pro overhaul.
Wrapping Up
These are just a few of the important new goods Apple is expected to release in 2022. There is a slew of additional options on the table, including incremental changes to the current 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, new accessories, and so on.
