Apple’s Upcoming iPhone: Rumors, Expectations, and Renderings
Apple has always been known for its innovative and sleek designs, and the anticipation for their next release is growing every day. The rumors of a titanium iPhone and a new Ultra tier for the smartphone have been making rounds, and we can’t wait to see what Apple has in store for us. In this article, we will discuss the latest rumors and expectations for the upcoming iPhone and take a look at a rendering that visualizes what the iPhone Ultra could look like.
Titanium iPhone
There have been rumors that Apple may release a titanium iPhone in the near future. Last year, there were hints of this as a patent surfaced, and a rumor claimed that the iPhone 15 could arrive in the fall with a titanium design. The rumor also mentioned that the design could have rounded back edge corners.
iPhone Ultra
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple may launch a new premium tier for its smartphones, dubbed iPhone Ultra, in 2024. The iPhone Ultra is expected to sit above the Pro Max and stand out with features like a larger screen, better phone cleaner feature, improved cameras, and advanced chips. Gurman does not believe the iPhone Ultra will be foldable.
Rendering of iPhone Ultra
Designer Jonas Daehnert recently shared a rendering of the iPhone Ultra on Twitter. This rendering is not based on any leaks or expectations but is simply an exercise to see if it was possible to adapt the Watch Ultra design language to the iPhone. The adaptation was a success, and the rendering showcases the Apple Watch Ultra DNA with the International Orange Action Button and bottom-port accent, raised buttons and rugged ringer switch, speaker cutouts, hard display edge, and rounded corners.
Final Thoughts
While there is no certainty of how the titanium iPhone or the iPhone Ultra will manifest, the excitement for Apple’s next release is palpable. We can only wait and see what Apple has in store for us, and in the meantime, enjoy the renderings and rumors that keep us on the edge of our seats.
