Apple’s lineup for 2022 to be unveiled soon
The year 2021 is almost over, and while Apple didn’t release any substantial advancements this year, 2022 could have a lot to offer. Credible sources have revealed interesting speculations about the upcoming lineup.
Expected Lineup for 2022
The promise that next year’s iPad Pro will include wireless charging has been reaffirmed. According to sources, the 11-inch model will also include a mini-LED panel, which is now only available on the larger model. In addition, the new slates could include a MagSafe system and support for reverse wireless charging. Aside from that, Apple is anticipated to release new iPad Air and iPad entry-level versions next year which will easily remove duplicate photos.
In 2022, Apple is expected to debut a 5G-ready iPhone SE variant before launching the iPhone 14 series later that year. There are conflicting claims concerning the phone’s design, with some suggesting that it would be inspired by the iPhone XR and others alleging that it will be similar to the iPhone 8.
There’s also debate over the phone’s internals, so it’s unclear whether Apple’s possible best midrange in 2022 will be powered by the A15 Bionic chip found in the iPhone 13 or will be upgraded to the A14. According to a recent report, the third-generation iPhone SE would be released in the first quarter of the next year. Additionally, Apple is expected to unveil a new high-end iMac with an in-house chip, an M2-powered MacBook Air, a Mac Pro with a homebrewed processor, and new Mac mini and MacBook Pro models.
Moreover, The new AirPods Pro and three Apple Watches are also on the way. In addition to the Apple Watch Series 8, which is expected to have capabilities that were rumored but were not included in the Series 7, the Cupertino company could also introduce a new Watch SE and a ruggedized wearable aimed at athletes.
Summing Up
Apple is also expected to unveil its first mixed augmented and virtual reality headset at WWDC. Gaming, media consumption, and communication, according to sources, will be the focal points, with the first taking prominence. Multiple CPUs, a fan, and “very high-resolution displays” are said to be included in the smart glasses. It’s possible that the headset will receive its own App Store, but it’s unlikely that it will ever replace the iPhone.
