Apple’s iPhone SE 4 to have 5.7′′ to 6.1′′ displays
Apple is already gearing up for its next line of products if reports are to be believed. The latest speculations are about the iPhone SE 4’s display sizes, the device is expected to be released some time in 2024.
Display & Features
While several reports have suggested that the iPhone SE 4 would have a design similar to the iPhone XR, a fresh report today claims that key details remain unknown.
According to the report, Apple is evaluating a couple alternative display choices for the iPhone SE 4. First, it’s thinking of adopting a 6.1-inch OLED panel from two distinct manufacturers. It is also said to be investigating LCD panels ranging in size from 5.7 to 6.1 inches from two different sources.
The usage of a 6.1-inch OLED screen in the iPhone SE 4 would undoubtedly be the most expensive choice, given this is the same display technology used in the top iPhone 14 models. However, it may compel Apple to hike the price more than it would want. We can also expect this device to have some of the iPhone 14 features including amazing file sharing speeds and customization features such as Lock Screen widgets.
Likewise, utilizing an LCD screen between 5.7 and 6.1 inches would be more cost effective and contribute to the iPhone SE’s cheaper pricing. Choosing a screen size at the lower end of that spectrum would also alleviate the worries of current iPhone SE owners who do not desire a huge display.
Although the screen size varies from the iPhone XR’s 6.1-inch LCD display, the general appearance of the iPhone SE 4 may mirror that of the iPhone XR. A notch cutout, reduced bezels, no Home button, and Touch ID in the side button are all possibilities.
Contrary to previous reports, the iPhone SE 4 is now expected to release sometime in 2024 rather than 2023.
