WWDC 2022, Apple’s annual developer conference, was announced last month. However, this year, Apple allowed developers to register for an in-person event at Apple Park. The message is now being sent to developers who have been selected to participate in the unique event.

In-Person WWDC 2022 Event

Apple events in person had been canceled owing to the COVID-19 outbreak. Although WWDC 2022 will be pre-recorded and streamed online, Apple will offer its campus to a select group of developers who will be able to attend the opening keynote alongside the company’s engineers and designers.

Developers who wanted to attend the event had to register on the Apple Developer website, just as they did for previous WWDC events before the outbreak. Registration for this unique WWDC 2022 event was free due to many constraints, including inviting fewer individuals to minimize the COVID-19 spread.

From May 9 to May 11, submissions for the event were accepted and developers are invited to see the latest upgrades. We hope to see a viable way to carry out android transfers as well. Apple is now alerting developers whether they were invited, claiming a “random selection procedure.”

Selected developers are required to adhere to “Apple’s health and safety requirements.” To attend Apple Park, a negative COVID-19 test no more than three days before the event is necessary, according to Apple. However, wearing a mask is “currently” optional, since local rules might change at any moment.

In addition to the inaugural address, selected developers will be among the first to see Apple Park’s new Developer Center. WWDC 2022 starts on June 6, with online sessions continuing until June 10. More information is available on Apple’s website.
