Apple Has a Better Idea Than the New MacBook Pro

Although the competition is close in on the benchmarks, Apple’s Mac computers remain popular among consumers. But that shouldn’t blind them to what’s in store for the rest of the year. Anyone searching for a MacBook right now should pause and reflect since something better is on the way.

Something Better Than MacBook Pro is Coming

With no major announcements this month, the logical choice for hardware would be the 14-inch or 16-inch MacBook Pro computers due out in late 2021. These are the most recent MacBook designs, and they provide exceptional performance.

And, to be honest, this is part of the problem. Yes, there are impressive benchmarks and performance results, but the normal customer does not require as much power… Also, keep in mind that this authority comes with a substantial financial cost. These MacBook Pro laptops are pricey enough for individuals who absolutely require the power, but for everyone else who needs a nice computer to operate around the typical day-to-day duties, it feels both expensive and overpriced.

We are left with the following options. The first is the uncomfortable entry-level MacBook Pro, which delivers somewhat more power for significantly more money than the MacBook Air. To be honest, if you need power, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro computers are available, which are more than capable of handling complex tasks such as data sharing. Everyone else should be OK with the MacBook Air.

However, the technology in the MacBook Air is more than two years old; the notebook depended on an outdated design, lesser specifications for features like the display and I/O ports, all held down by Apple’s insistence on making those first ARM-powered Apple Silicon Macs seem precisely like Intel laptops. This contributed to the illusion of continuity, but these once-revolutionary MacBooks now appear worn, out of date, and in need of replacement.

Fortunately, Apple will do exactly that. Perhaps the geekerati’s expectation of Apple launching a new MacBook Air at the March event was overly ambitious; this would have been out of sync with both the main release dates of macOS, as well as the MacBook release timetable, which is becoming increasingly identifiable.

Plain said October is the month for new MacBooks, just as September is the month for new iPhones and March is the month for desktop computers. Apple’s new MacBook Air is on its way. It’s believed to be the first of Apple’s Macs to come with the next-generation M2 processor; the new design language seen in the bigger MacBook Pro models; and two years of experience with ARM-based laptops and desktops factored into the new design.

There’s a good likelihood Apple will introduce a 15-inch device to the Air lineup, in addition to the 13-inch model. Apple’s consumer MacBook lineup is already strong, but it’s about to get a lot better.
