According to recent reports, the Snapdragon-based Galaxy S22+ for the US outperforms

Samsung has had quite a year. The South Korean tech giant has a year filled with mostly praises, its foldables have been declared the future of smartphones. The devices did exceptionally well and exceeded expectations with their top-notch feature and flawless design.

According to the latest reports, in some markets, the Snapdragon 898 processor will be used, while in others, the Exynos 2200 processor will be used. According to leaked data, Qualcomm’s solution will power the Galaxy S22 in the United States, and the new online benchmark backs this up even further.

The Samsung Galaxy S22

The Galaxy S22+, with the model number SM-S906U, was detected on Geekbench today, a few months after the standard model made its first disappointing appearance in the same online benchmark. Thankfully, the device’s current benchmark scores show a lot more promise this time, with 1,163 points in single-core tests and 2,728 points in multi-core testing.

The Galaxy S22+ for the foreign market (SM-S906B) will, on the other hand, be equipped with the Exynos 2200 chipset, which was also recently seen on Geekbench. In single-core and multi-core testing, it received 1,073 and 3,389 points, respectively, up from 475 and 1,393 points a few months ago.

With an Adreno 730 graphics chip, the Snapdragon 898 chipset is expected to contain one high-performance Cortex-X2 core, three performance cores, and four efficiency cores. Previous benchmarks indicate that the same SoC will power the Galaxy Tab S8 series, which has yet to be unveiled. Additionally, the device will have no issues with apps such as duplicate photos remover.

Wrapping Up

For now, the Qualcomm-powered Galaxy S22 flagship trio will only be available in the United States and one or two other countries. Instead, the Exynos 220 SoC should be used in the remainder of the world.

If the Galaxy S22 is anything like the foldables we are in for a treat. We will have to wait and see for the final product to evaluate if this is a hit or miss.
