According to a fresh claim, the ‘iPhone 14 Pro’ would include a 48MP camera
Apple’s next “iPhone 14 Pro” versions might include a 48-megapixel rear-facing camera, enhancing the device’s photographic capabilities significantly.
Although reports of a 48MP camera in the future iPhones aren’t new, TrendForce confirmed them in research released on Wednesday. According to the research organisation, the change would cut the market share of handsets with 12MP primary cameras to only 15%.
The upgrade from a 12MP to a 48MP camera would be the first since the iPhone 6s, which discarded 8MP sensors in favour of 12MP sensors. Furthermore, this isn’t the first time a 48MP primary camera for the “iPhone 14 Pro” versions has been rumoured. Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-connected analyst, has predicted that the new bigger sensor will allow a hybrid working mode and 8K video recording on many occasions.
The new device’s 48MP camera sensor, on the other hand, does not imply that all photos taken with it will contain that many pixels. The gadget is expected to have 48MP photographs for well-illuminated objects and 12MP images for low-light shots.
It is worth mentioning that we expect the iPhone 14’s overall performance to be above and beyond, the device should easily carry out iPhone transfers without any hiccups. Aside from the improved camera, the “iPhone 14 Pro” is believed to include a redesigned front design that might do away with the notch in favour of a pill-shaped or hole-punch camera. According to other sources, the camera hump in the next models may be decreased as well.
